Well, when I came home from school…
…my head started to get really hot. So I drank some cold water, but it didn’t do nothing. So I laid in the bathtub for a while, but then I realized that it was my hair that was making my head hot. So I went into my kitchen and I shaved it all off. I don’t want anyone to see.
If you don’t understand the title of this post, you probably haven’t watched Napoleon Dynamite 11.25 times like I have. That said, Geek Estate Blog hosted this week’s Carnival of Real Estate. I’m not sure why they think Napoleon Dynamite is a geek (especially since I relate to him, GOSH!), but they used him as the CoRE mascot this week to announce the winners.
Perhaps since I relate to Napoleon Dynamite, I was named The Number Four Geek in All of Kazakstan the Blogiverse (I’ll give you link love if you can name this reference)! The article that won this CoRE geek award is Dogs Don’t Know It’s Not Bacon, so read up and be sure to comment!

Special congratuations this week go to my husband for not only getting a Geek mention but for winning the whole dang carnival- way to Geek it up, Realtor Genius!

“I’ll give you link love if you can name this reference”
Can I play?

YES YOU CAN!!!!

The word “Blogiverse” was first used (to my knowledge) in comment #4 of this post on Sellsius:

You got me- you get half credit.
“Number Four Geek In All of…” is still up for the second half of the credit (which was actually the allusion I was going for- only the biggest of dorks will get that one).
BTW- y’all need to read the link above in Jay’s comment and stop calling it the “blogosphere” or Jay might show up at your house with a shot up sale sign. I mean it.

Lani is referencing last years cult hit, “Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan”
In it Borat says,
“My sister is the number four prostitute in all of Kazakhstan”
As you can see Lani crosses off Kazakhstan and inserts blogiverse and substitutes geek for prostitute.
Can I please get on your blog roll now?
Thanks,
Shailesh

Hey now, I promised you a spot on the Ultra Exclusive Blogroll… I’m just umm… busy. Plus, I have to ask my husband to do it for me so I can’t make a time promise.
But if you’re saying you’re a dork for winning, then yes; you are a dork WITH me!

Face it Shailesh…. you’re a dork!
Hey Lani - if you install the “wp-Chunk” WP plugin, it’ll fix the problem of long links running into the sidebar (like in my comment above…)

So… me, Shailesh and now you- that’s THREE dorks in one thread! It’s getting nerdy in here!
Thanks for the chunk plugin! It’s now on my GTD list!

I get called nerdy - a lot - mostly by my wife - but very rarely called a dork. I guess with time you start to hear it all!
