How is Your Blog Pantry Organized?
Blogging is great. It’s really, really great. But just like in my uber organized pantry, everything has a specific place and should be organized accordingly. So here is where everything fits in my blogging pantry:
I host this site, RE Revealed where I speak about Real Estate practices, news and technology from the point of view of a Realtor Wife. This is a business focused blog.
I also write for the Bloodhound Blog from the same point of view, but I leave out the more silly material that I let through at RE Revealed. Greg Swann runs a tight ship at Bloodhound Blog, so I stick to nationally relevant Real Estate news or tech topics that should be addressed in a large forum.
I wrote my first personal article today on My Beautiful Chaos which is April Groves’ personal blog. I have found that in my need to have blogarrhea (which is similar to verbal diarrhea when people won’t shut up), there are topics that I love talking about but don’t believe have a home in business blogging. Thank God for April!
Lastly, I write frequently on our local blog which brings Austin real estate news and events to our rapidly growing readership.

So, that’s where everything fits on the shelves. I have brought other things into the pantry before that didn’t fit or didn’t taste as good as I hoped when I bought them, but all I can do is meticulously reorganize the pantry and make sure everything is put in its exact place with the labels facing forward.
What is in your pantry and where does it all fit for you? If you’re not OCD like me, you should know that your pantry may be disorganized, so make sure you take a closer look!

I own about six sites including two blogs but only one is active.
The other blog I use as a CMS for an interior design site. I am thinking of changing my domain names but I cannot come up with a good niche related name as I haven’t quiet found my niche yet. I have six or seven contributors for my one active blog but it’s in the process of being overhauled.
As for guest writing, I have never done it as no one has asked but depending on the person asking, I may or may not try it. I am half way attempting to email Greg Swann and talk him into letting me do a blind guest post on marketing as that is one thing I can do considering the fact that I am a former spammer who started spamming people at 14 years of age and have quiet a few tricks up my sleaves that would benefit real estate agents but then again, I am too scared to reveal my true identity when it comes to writing about that one.
