I use social networking sites and blogging to learn more about other people, their ideas, their business practices and I network for Single Pointe Realty branding purposes and of course for personal gain. You’re currently reading RErevealed.com where I am the sole author. But, because I love blogging so much, I contribute at other blogs as well! Let’s just say that I’m very very involved in real estate blogging- ask anyone!

Okay, where do I blog?

First and foremost, I contribute at Single Pointe’s Corporate Blog. The focus is strictly on Austin’s real estate, Austin’s people, places and events. We’re a well known information source for Austinites.

The most coveted authorship role around is at nationally renowned blog, Agent Genius. My articles there focus on real estate practices, marketing and social networking. Agent Genius is written by industry insiders for industry insiders- it’s a lot of fun, you should check it out!

I contribute to the Bloodhound Blog which is a Phoenix-based blog written for consumers and sometimes for other real estate professionals. BHB will host their first conference this year called “Bloodhound Blog Unchained.” If you’re interested, drop me a line- I’d love to meet you in person!

Don’t forget- I publish many of my personal thoughts on My Beautiful Chaos. I write about parenting, Catholicism, personal goals, my office supplies fetish, and general life improvement. I’ve made many wonderful friends there and I hope you’ll take a peek!

What about the Nitty Gritty?

I have lived in Austin, Texas for the entirety of my life and anyone from here knows that we have this abnormal pride about our city. I realized once abroad that I never say “I’m from the States” like everyone else does, I instinctually say, “hi, I’m from Texas.” Europeans LOVE Texans (and no, I don’t own a horse, boots, spurs or any tumbleweed- I live at the top of a small, forested mountain/hill).

I went to the University of Texas in Austin (best school ever) and studied English and Spanish. I even studied abroad in Spain at La Universidad de Salamanca and loved it! I don’t know that I could ever live there (compact spaces don’t mix well with a Texan land owner) but I want to go back to visit soon.

I began working in Real Estate during college in apartment management (which is a very difficult job, don’t be fooled). I have taken many steps to get to Single Pointe where my position is that of Asset Director. I manage the Single Pointe’s branding which is an extremely rewarding job!

Facebook is the slightly more personal/silly side of my life. I am connected with international business people as well as many old friends (and even a celebrity or two)!
